**TUCSON, Ariz.** - An Arizona State Trooper was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash while conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 10 near Ina Road on Friday night.

The trooper, who has not been identified, was struck by a vehicle while he was standing outside his patrol car. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

The trooper was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. His condition is currently unknown.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
